Chelsea transfer news: Blues readying 'huge offer' bid for Torino striker Andrea Belotti

Chelsea are ready to splash the cash on Torino striker Andrea Belotti by submitting a huge offer in the coming days, according to reports in Italy.

The Premier League champions are frantically searching for a new forward this summer after missing out on Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte had wanted to sign the Belgian as a replacement for Diego Costa, who is itching for a move back to Spain.

Now, after losing the race for Lukaku, the Blues need to act fast and – according to La Stampa – they are preparing to make a huge offer for Belotti.

The 23-year-old shone in Italy last season and he finished the Serie A campaign with 26 goals.

The striker can leave Torino for a foreign club if his release-clause of €100million [£88m] is met, and the report in La Stampa claims Chelsea are ready to submit a formal offer close to that amount.
