Bruce Cam video: Watch manager’s brilliant goal celebration

Steve Bruce was over-the-moon to see Gabriel Agbonlahor bag our opening goal of the 2017/18 season – as you can see below.

Our club TV cameras were pointed at the boss as he reacted ebulliently to Agbonlahor’s superb seventh minute opener.

Agbonlahor finished coolly after latching on to an Ahmed Elmohamady cross, which had been cleverly ghosted over by fellow striker Scott Hogan.

Bruce went wild as the long-serving forward slammed home past experienced stopper Allan McGregor.
It was a wonderful moment made even better by Agbonlahor’s post-finish tribute.

Agbonlahor headed over to the bench where he was handed a t-shirt wishing good friend Carl Ikeme – goalkeeper at Wolves – a speedy recovery in his battle against leukaemia.

What a nice touch – and a great feeling all round.
