Tottenham ‘prepared to pay between up to £30 million for Ross Barkley’

Everton are demanding £50 million for Barkley, who has less than a year remaining on his current contract at Goodison Park and has yet to commit to a new deal.
As reported by the Mirror, Tottenham will attempt to finalise the signing of Barkley before they head to the United States for their pre-season tour next week.
It has been a quiet transfer window for Tottenham so far with regards to incomings, with there having been no new arrivals at the club, and the acquisition of Barkley would help to appease supporters, many of whom have been left frustrated with the lack of activity.
An excellent dribbler, Barkley was successful with 66% of the take-ons that he attempted in the Premier League last season, while he managed to create 82 chances; by far the highest amount amongst the Everton squad.
