Stoke City turn down Galatasaray bid for record signing Giannelli Imbula

Imbula made the move to Stoke for a club record £18.3million from Porto last January but has failed to establish himself in the first-team setup.
And, despite having four years left on his current contract, the Premier League club are considering cutting their losses and getting rid of the midfielder this summer.
According to Turkish-Football, Stoke have rejected Galatasaray's initial loan offer as their intentions may be to shift Imbula out on a permanent transfer.
The Frenchman has made 23 appearances for the Potters so far but manager Mark Hughes has already cast doubt over whether he features in his long-term plans at the Premier League club.
