The 25-year-old said that his fellow Brazil international team mate was the second only to his club teammate Lionel Messi.

Neymar spoke about the talented 20-year-old during the Red Bull’s Neymar Jr’s Five event, and was quoted in the Sun talking about the exceptional talent of the Premier League goal-machine.

The Sun quoted the Nou Camp ace, and he said: “The most skilful player? Lionel Messi. But after that it’s Gabriel Jesus – he’s incredibly skilful. I’d also have to pick Robinho, who is my idol, and Ganso at Sevilla.

“And I can’t forget Ronaldinho. If there was one Brazilian I’d bring back from retirement to play for Barcelona, it would be him.”

Gabriel Jesus was recruited by Pep Guardiola and brought to the Etihad from Palmeiras in January this year.

The Brazilian managed just 11 games for Man City and fractured his foot just a month after joining the club that sidelined him for three months.

He made a big impression but is still unproven in the Premier League and Guardiola will be hoping he can make a real impact in the upcoming season.

Guardiola is looking to strengthen his squad as much as possible ready for the 2017/18 campaign and has already been busy during the transfer window.

The former Barcelona boss has signed Benafica goalkeeper Ederson, Monaco’s Bernardo Silva, and most recently has brought Tottenham defender Kyle Walker to the Manchester giants.
