Newcastle United fans react on Twitter to Diego Rolan transfer speculation

Having completed the signings of Jacob Murphy and Javier Manquillo this week, signing a striker should now be a top priority for Rafael Benitez.

According to reports from The Northern Echo, Uruguayan striker Diego Rolan is waiting for an offer from Newcastle United. The striker knows about Benitez’s admiration for him.

Rolan was heavily linked with a move to Fulham, but despite visiting the club’s training ground twice, he has failed to agree a deal with the Championship club.
The 24-year-old wants to play in the Premier League, and prefers a move to Newcastle. He is reportedly now waiting for the Magpies to make a bid for him.

Newcastle fans are not too excited with the transfer link, judging by their reactions on Twitter; but many believe that at £5 million, he could be a risk worth taking.
Newcastle have made four signings already, with Christian Atsu, Florian Lejeune and, most recently, Murphy and Manquillo being signed up, but there could be more additions.
