Hundreds line the streets for funeral of Bradley Lowery

A variety of different football shirts were worn by people paying tribute to Bradley’s love of the beautiful game, while balloons lined the streets of the village and outside the Stadium of Light, the home of Sunderland, the youngster’s favourite team.
Footballer Defoe and Bradley struck up a remarkable friendship after the little boy, who suffered from the rare cancer neuroblastoma, appeared as a mascot for Sunderland.
The England striker left a pre-season camp in Spain with his new team Bournemouth so he could pay his respects to his best friend.
