Borussia Dortmund to challenge Everton for Arsenal star as Chelsea move for Aubameyang - report

Borussia Dortmund are ready to hand Olivier Giroud a new escape route from north London this summer - but only if Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leaves, according to reports from Germany.

Bild claim that the Bundesliga club are eyeing up Giroud as a potential replacement for Aubameyang as Chelsea consider a bid for the Gabon international.

The Blues are said to be willing to drop €70m on Aubameyang which would give Dortmund more than enough resources to tempt Giroud away from Arsenal - although they will face stiff competition from free-spending Everton.The Frenchman has already hinted that he might leave the Emirates this summer after the arrival of fellow countryman Alexandre Lacazette for a club record fee.

"It is to be honest with you," the Gunners striker told reporters when asked if leaving was an option this summer during the Gunners' pre-season tour of Australia.
