He‘ll succeed –Yakmut

DIRECTOR General of National Sports Commission (NSC), Mr. Alhassan Yakmut has tipped new Super Eagles manager, Sunday Oliseh to excel with the team.
Yakmut who spoke yesterday when top officials of the nation’s soccer governing body, NFF presented Oliseh to him said given the pedigree of the new Eagles boss, he (Oliseh) would deliver and justify the confidence reposed on him by his employers.
“Oliseh will succeed because he is knowledgeable and has very good playing experience ,” Yakmut said.
Yakmut was quick in adding that the NSC had no hand in Keshi’s sack insisting that the commission doesn’t interfere in the affairs of NFF.
“As a Commission we have no statutory right in determining who coaches the national team. The Commission rather serves as a conveyor belt for sports development in Nigeria. We are not authorized to select coaches; it is left to the Nigeria Football Federation. My own is to ensure due diligence and process is followed” Yakmut said.
The NSC boss charged the NFF to always ensure that they are guided by due process in their management functions as well as maintain a symbiotic relationship with the sports commission.
