THE £2.72M-RATED WOLVES FORWARD WHO COULD FIRE NUNO’S TEAM TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE NEXT SEASON

After a disappointing campaign that saw Wolves finish in 15th place in the Championship last time out, the pressure is on the new manager to build a push for promotion after spending a sizeable amount in the transfer window this summer.

There’s been some pretty big-name signings down in the Midlands and the most recent player to join the ranks at Molineux is £2.72million-rated striker Leo Bonatini, who joins Espirito’s squad from Saudi outfit Al-Hilal.

The 23-year-old moves to the Midlands on a season-long loan and after some consideration, we at the FLW think he could be a player to really keep an eye on over the coming season.

Over the past two seasons for both Al-Hilal and former club Estoril, he’s scored 35 goals, a cracking return for a player who just three years ago was struggling to make an impact in his homeland of Brazil.

But it’s his movement, work-rate and his ability to score from all over the pitch that has been particularly impressive over the past couple of seasons.

For a player who is just 23-years old, this is a very big move indeed but it’s set to be one that will test his true ability more than ever.

Wolves have been missing a true goalscorer for some-time now and bringing Bonatini in for a year will be a big test of his ability, and how far the team can really go over the coming weeks and months.

If he hits the ground running, Wolves could have a player capable of leading them to the title.
