Marc Muniesa leaves Stoke for Girona on loan

The 25-year-old defender leaves the Potters after making more than 60 appearances during his four years at the bet365 Stadium.
Muniesa, who joined Stoke from Barcelona, departs a matter of hours after the club confirmed the return of defender Bruno Martins Indi on a five-year deal.

The Netherlands international spent last season on loan at Stoke from Porto and joins for £7m.
He will not feature for Stoke in their opening match of the new Premier League season away at Everton on Saturday as the paperwork for the deal was submitted after the midday deadline.
