Hull City reject Swansea City's £12m offer for midfielder Sam Clucas

Hull City have rejected a £12m bid for Sam Clucas from Swansea City as their resolve to hold on to the midfielder continues to be tested.

City had already knocked back offers of £5m and £10m from Burnley in the last 10 days but the Swans have gone higher still.

The latest bid was rejected by the Tigers ahead of tomorrow’s trip to QPR but it is expected Swansea will up their offer in an attempt to tempt City into business.

Clucas still has two years remaining on his current deal at the KCOM Stadium and has been offered an improved deal to stay in recent weeks.
