Fiorentina confirm Benassi signing

Fiorentina have officially confirmed the signing of Torino midfielder Marco Benassi, after he passed his medical.

It was surprisingly announced yesterday that the Viola had reached an agreement for the Granata man, and he’d agreed a five-year contract pending medical checks.

Those tests took place this morning, and the Italian Under-21 international is now officially a Fiorentina player.

“ACF Fiorentina announces that the player Marco Benussi has passed his medical and signed the contract which ties him to the Gigliati until June 30, 2022.”
