BAYERN TARGET JAMES RODRIGUEZ WANTS MAN UTD MOVE
It was initially reported that Rodriguez wanted to reunite with former Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti at Bayern Munich but now a move to the Premier League seems most likely.
The Daily Star have reported that Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG have all lodged bids for the Colombian star this summer but his preferred destination is Old Trafford, says OK Diario.
Madrid are said to be demanding £60m for Rodriguez’s transfer this summer, a fee that all the above clubs are able to match.
Manchester United’s bid hasn’t been accepted yet, neither has the offers from Chelsea or PSG, while Arsenal have already seen a bid turned down.
The former Monaco and Porto standout wants to play regular football and be at the top of his game by the time the 2018 World Cup comes around next summer, and a summer transfer appears to be the best option to do so, with Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, PSG and Bayern Munich all vying for his signature.
