Gernot Rohr - Expect New Players In Super Eagles Next Year.

Some players who are yet to be called up to the Nigeria team under coach Gernot Rohr are still going to be given the chance to push for a World Cup spot when the team regroup next year.

Rohr made it known shortly after Nigeria’s 4-2 win over Argentina in a friendly on Tuesday‎ leaving the door open for new players to gatecrash the team before the 2018 World Cup next year in Russia.

“The team is not there yet; we tried a new formation against one of the best teams (Argentina) in the world and you can all see the impact, so we will continue to find the right solutions for this team,” Rohr said in Russia.“It’s possible to still see new faces next year because we will give every player a chance to prove to us they deserve to wear the national jersey. We will get there soon, hopefully,”.
