Sanchez rejects new deal with Wenger

By his standards, Sanchez has been used sparingly by Arsene Wenger this season. The Chilean who netted 30 goals in all competitions for the Gunners last term has less than a year to run on his current deal and it appears Wenger is planning ahead for life without him.

As to Mesut Ozil, who has not started a game for a month.

Sanchez was desperate to join Manchester City this summer but Arsenal failed to find a suitable replacement and blocked his move to the Etihad.

The Chilean is now refusing to enter talks for a new deal at The Emirates. Wenger hasn’t given up hope of tying him down, but Arsenal fans are resigned to losing him.
