Fifa rejects Leicester appeal over late paperwork
Leicester City's bid to finally secure the registration of Adrien Silva has been rejected by Fifa.
Silva, the £25m signing from Sporting Lisbon, is facing further frustration after Fifa refused permission for the midfielder to complete his move.The Portugal international's transfer to Leicester was blocked in September when Leicester filed paperwork 14 seconds late, despite agreeing a fee and terms with Sporting on deadline day.
