Four reasons Manchester United fans should get excited about the £45million signing of Ivan Perisic

Seem to be indicating that Manchester United could soon reach a £45 million agreement to bring Croatian winger Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan to Old Trafford.
The 28-year-old could even join the Red Devils in time for their pre-season tour of the United States, but what exactly can fans expect from the ex-Dortmund star?
He averages almost twice as many shots per game as United’s current forwards
In 2016/17 Perisic had an average of 2.7 shots per game. Henrikh Mkhitaryan had the highest of any United winger with 1.6 shots per game, with Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard having 1.5 attempts, and Juan Mata and Marcus Rashford only managing 1.4 efforts on goal.
He beat Romelu Lukaku to be the top scorer and player of the season in Belgium’s top flight in 2010/11
Whilst Lukaku was a teen making his name for Anderlecht, Perisic was the star of the show at arch rivals Club Brugge. Lukaku narrowly missed out on the two gongs, scoring 20 league goals compared to Perisic’s 22 goals. The duo lit up Belgian football that season and could combine to light up Old Trafford this time around.
