Cristiano Ronaldo set to be subject of world-record £157million summer offer

Four-time Ballon d'Or-winner has enjoyed sensational end to season, but Los Blancos could double their money on superstar

REAL MADRID are bracing themselves for a £157million bid for Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, according to reports in Portugal.

Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco are ready to battle it out with clubs from the Chinese Super League for the four-time Ballon d’Or winner’s signature.

Ronaldo has enjoyed a stunning end to the campaign — netting twice in the Champions League final victory over Juventus.

Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates scoring his second goal in Champions League final

While it seems unlikely Los Blancos would allow the Portuguese superstar to leave this summer, there is some logic from a business point of view.
Ronaldo is now 32 and the European champions could almost double their money for a player they broke the world transfer record to sign from United for £80m in 2009.
Despite starring in the Champions League final only three days ago, Ronaldo has shown his dedication to Euro 2016 winners Portugal by joining up with his national side for Friday’s World Cup qualifier away to Latvia.
