Cristiano Ronaldo denies defrauding Spanish tax authorities of €14.7million as Real Madrid star faces probe

The Portuguese ace has responded to the accusations through his management company
According to Forbes magazine, Ronaldo is the world's highest paid athlete with £73.2million with a large part of his income being heavily boosted by the new contract extension he signed with the Spanish giants back in November.

The prolific forward signed a new deal believed to be worth £365,000-a-week which keeps him at the Bernabeu until 2021.

Ronaldo has also signed a life-time deal with Nike which is worth a staggering £790m while his line of CR7 branded products are growing bigger by the day that include a line of hotels, fragrance and jeans.
